New Board of Directors Appointment

The Board of Directors appointed Jeanette Loven to fill vacant seat.



The appointment was made official on August 1st to fill the vacant seat left by outgoing Board President Justin Edson. The Code Enforcement Officer Safety Foundation (CEOSF) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity that was founded in 2020 to promote safety in the Code Official profession. The Foundation hosts officer safety related training internationally, donated nearly $50,000 in body armor to officials across the United States, and over $11,000 in training scholarships. CEOSF is partnered with the International Code Council, American Association of Code Enforcement, and the National Animal Care & Control Association.


Jeanette has served as a CEOSF Regional Representative since November of 2022. Since she started volunteering, she has represented CEOSF at regional, national, and international conferences. She has also served as the Co-Chair of the Charitable Giving's Committee and the Certification Committee. With her extensive experience and current involvement in Animal Control, she has been instrumental in connecting with Animal Control associations across the country.


She is a Lead Code Enforcement & Animal Control Officer in Colorado. Jeanette has decades of experience as a 911 Dispatcher, EMT-I, and as a Forest Fire Dispatcher. She earned her Advanced Code Enforcement Officer certificate from CACEO and is a Certified Animal Cruelty Investigator, Peer Support Specialist, CPR/First Aid Instructor, and Code Official Safety Specialist.

Board positions are volunteers and have voting authority for official business. These positions do not have term limits. The Board of Directors is made up of a President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, and 2 Directors.


The Board of Directors would like to congratulate Jeanette on her appointment and thank her for her energy and commitment to keep CEOSF moving forward. We look forward to working together to help keep our colleagues safe and get home to their families.
